The first environment is educational, focusing on annual training sessions for Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) incidents. Users are encouraged to review the instructional videos available under the Training Videos/Docs section prior to engaging further with the application.
The second environment is practical, designed for use during real-time scenarios where responders may encounter a suspected CBRN situation. In this context, users can utilize the Chemical, Biological, Radiological/Nuclear buttons alongside an “I Don’t Know” option to promptly assess and gather information about the incident. This facilitates informed decision-making regarding responder safety, lifesaving measures, and public health protection.
Additionally, the Quick Reference button serves as a supplementary resource when further clarification is needed, acting as a fallback option when identification of the CBRN agent is not feasible.
